Vision: Students will be college and career ready upon graduation
Welcome back for the start of the second semester 2015! Our students have been working hard and they will have a chance to showcase the work they have accomplished as we prepare for a February WASC visit, and head into the testing season beginning in March.
Just a few reminders, we are offering after school peer and teacher tutoring for added support and our Library is open until 3:30pm. Rancho has earned respect by setting high standards and on-going support to obtain maximum student achievement for every student. Our expectations for all students are that they will be empowered with knowledge and are College and Career ready.
For the second semester, we hope our students will continue to take advantage of the many academic and extracurricular activities. Students who become involved outside the classroom are more successful inside the classroom. We hope our students maximize their high school experience by becoming involved in some of our school's excellent athletic and academic teams, fine and performing arts programs, and outstanding club activities. There are many to choose from and each student can find something that is of interest to them to make high school fun and rewarding.
It is my honor to work with the tremendous students and staff that make Rancho great! Rancho is proud of its academic success and we are proud of the fact that each year our students are accepted at some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the nation.
I am looking forward to seeing you at our events and activities! Follow me on Twitter at @RCHS_Cougars for the latest news. Stop by and say hello when you see me on campus.
