Audience: Grade 12 and Homepage

Sunday, November 27th 2-6 p.m. at the Long Beach Convention Center there will be a FREE Convention with 50+ HBCUs in participation. Students can learn about HBCs and speak to HBC Reps about the admissions process. Also, current HBC students who live on the West Coast who are home for the holidays will be available.  SAT, Personal Statement, Financial Aid and Scholarship Workshops will be available for students and parents.  Students can also inquire how to attend a Black College Tour in the spring. Seniors are encouraged to bring copies of their transcripts for on-site acceptance. Students should register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/stepping-in-the-right-direction-black-college-fair-tickets-27743674076 to avoid the registration line the day of the event.  

Parents are encouraged to attend.
