Dear Parents,

Rancho Cucamonga High School is off and running for the 2018-19 school year! Our first semester has started and it has been a smooth opening. Our students are geared up and ready to begin the year strong!

Rancho Cucamonga High School provides many academic and extracurricular activities. Students who become involved outside of the classroom are more successful inside the classroom. We hope our students maximize their high school experience by becoming involved in some of our school's excellent athletic and academic teams, fine and performing arts programs, and outstanding club activities. There are many to choose from and each student can find something that is of interest to them to make high school fun and rewarding.

Back to School Night will take place on August 29th at 6:30pm. Not only will you be able to visit your child’s classes, you will also get to see student performances by our Band, Cheer, Choir, and Dance program. We are looking forward to having you on campus!

As our students begin this year, and in order to be successful, it is important that all students are in school daily. Students who are not in attendance miss out on valuable instruction. To support our students we continue to offer after school tutoring, PTSS Saturday School, and Freshman Pride Academy. We want our students to be successful and extending our day will allow them that added support.

Students and parents should also take advantage of School Loop to contact teachers if you have concerns about his or her progress. It is imperative that our staff have the opportunity to work with your students. Please do not hesitate to give us a call. It is our pleasure to be of assistance to you

Rancho has earned respect by setting high standards and on-going support to obtain maximum student achievement for every student. Our expectations for all students are that they will be empowered with knowledge and are College and Career ready.

It is my honor to work with the tremendous students and staff that make Rancho great! Rancho is proud of its academic success and we are proud of the fact that each year our students are accepted at some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the nation.

I am looking forward to seeing you at our events and activities! Follow me on Twitter at @RCHS_Cougars for the latest news.  Stop by and say hello when you see me on campus.
